Tobacco tour (Barichara)

Santander is tobacco country, and in Barichara that tradition is still alive in the hands of its artisans. On this tour you get an up-close look at the history of tobacco in the region: how it's grown, how the leaves are selected and cured, and how a good cigar is rolled.

Then you sit down in the workshop and make your own cigar step by step, guided by an artisan, to take home as a souvenir. You round off the experience exploring Barichara, with its cobblestone streets, canyon viewpoints and peaceful atmosphere. Culture, tradition and a souvenir made by you.
