Everything revolves around the courtyard: it's where you have breakfast, plan the day's route and toast when you get back. Around it are the rooms, the bar and restaurant, the shared kitchen, the coworking space and the ping-pong table. Backpackers, families and groups cross paths in its corridors before heading out to the river, the canyons or the towns of Santander.

Where is La Casona Don Juan?
At Carrera 10 # 10-80, downtown San Gil, a block and a half from the main square.
What time is breakfast?
Every day from 7 to 9 a.m., and it's included with every room.
Is there parking?
Motorbikes stay free inside the Casona. For cars we have an agreement with a parking lot a few steps away, with a special rate for our guests; just ask at reception when you arrive.
What types of rooms do you have?
Eleven rooms for 48 guests: a double and quadruples with private bathroom; doubles, a triple, a quadruple and family rooms for 5, 6 and 7 with shared bathroom; and a 9-bed dorm.
Do you have a dorm for backpackers?
Yes, room 201 is a 9-bed dorm: you book just your bed.
Can I cook?
Yes, the shared kitchen is open to guests until 9 p.m.
Is there a restaurant and bar?
Yes, daily from 6 to 10 p.m., with a menu for every taste: pasta, salads, wraps, burgers, fish and chips and more. Guests get 10% off.
Can I work from the Casona?
Yes. There's a coworking space with work tables and WiFi.
How do I book an activity?
