Chicamocha National Park (Panachi)
One of Colombia's most iconic places, on the edge of the Chicamocha Canyon. Its viewpoints offer stunning views of one of the largest natural formations in the country, and its 6.3 km cable car crosses the canyon from side to side on an unforgettable ride.
You can also visit the Santandereanidad Monument, the Guane museum (included with entry), trails, the water park and attractions for the whole family. A park worth a whole day, where you can plan your visit to suit your interests.
Duration & schedule
Panachi and water park: Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. In low season the park is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays: before you go, check at reception or contact us.
Where
Km 54 on the San Gil – Bucaramanga road (bus toward Bucaramanga from the bus terminal, about 45 min – 1 h).
Requirements
Child rate: height 90–124 cm; under 90 cm free. Attractions at extra cost: buggies (from COP 44,000), zipline (COP 32,000), giant swing (COP 27,000), waterfall descent (COP 30,000), paragliding (COP 250,000), chiva bus (COP 5,000) and farm (COP 4,000). Tickets are bought directly from the park.
